Mid Season blahs
I thought I would write a short note about an area athletes often encounter during the season. All the training, racing and stress can wear a person down both physically and mentally. This is often the time of a year for a cyclist they experience the mid-season blahs as I call them. They start to second guess themselves; am I doing enough? am I doing too much? The best way to make this negative time dissapper quickly is to take a few steps back, look at all the things cycling has brought to your life and enjoy the ride. take a day off, or ride for fun. Enjoy the sport again. It is always helpful to talk with someone else that has gone through it before. You are not the only one. By doing these steps you may find yourself recharged and ready to go even more motivated then before. Off to ride!
